No official complaints were available in Overland Park, Kansas where the alleged abuse is said to have occurred.

Rice's Recent Off-Field Troubles

Rice missed the first six games of this NFL campaign due to an league-mandated ban for his role in instigating a crash on a Dallas highway that left multiple people hurt. Rice was given a month of incarceration and probationary supervision after entering a guilty plea to felony charges.

Statistically, Rice concluded the season with 53 receptions for 571 yards and five TDs as the Kansas City finished with a losing record and failed to qualify for the postseason for the first occasion in a decade.
